What is CORAM DEO?

This is a lively, interactive, Bible focused group for young people in continuing education or entering the world of work.  We meet almost every Sunday of the year, after the Sunday evening service, at various people’s homes from 8.00 pm to 9.45 pm. Lifts from church to the venue and home can be provided.  The programme seeks to cover topics raised in  the Bible, Church History and Apologetics, and to develop genuine friendships within the group.

The group equips us to better live before the face of God, in His presence and in His service.

Coram Deo literally means "before the face of God". It carries the notion of our living in the presence of God, under the authority of God and to the honour and glory of God. It is what each person was designed for by their Creator. Living "coram Deo" has been best expressed by the Reformation tradition of the Church. The Reformers recaptured and championed the great solas - sola scriptura (Scripture alone), sola fide (faith alone), sola gratia (grace alone), soli Christo (Christ alone), soli Deo gloria (to God alone be glory).

Praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His

will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord

and may please Him in every way:

bearing fruit in every good work,

growing in the knowledge of God,

being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might,

so that you may have great endurance, patience, and joyfully giving

thanks to the Father who has qualified you to share in the

inheritance of the saints.
